Baby Tyler's Baptism

Today was a beautiful day for a baptism and a family get-t0-gether...NO RAIN made it even better! With 3.4 inches of rain falling in the last two days, a dry out was defiantly in order. Our prayers go out to the many farmers working so hard to get their crops out of this field in this crazy weather!

When it came time for the baptism, Trevor jumped right up there to be part of the ceremony.

And he was able to help the pastor baptize his little brother. What a great family moment!

The three brothers and baby Tyler.

Proud Grandparents!

After church were all invited to lunch by Kim's folks, Bob and Sharon (to left of Addison) at THE COUNTRY HOUSE restaurant in Colo. What a nice place - so warm and inviting! To Addi's left is our nephew, Grant. He was home visiting from college - Buena Vista, where he is a now a sophomore at the ripe old age of 19! He is super smart, studying to be a DOCTOR! We are all so proud of all he's accomplished, having enough credits to graduate already!! It was so great to see him and visit with him while he was home!
The meal was SOOOO GOOOD! Served family style, we had warm bread, a couple of salads, mashed potatoes and a choice of about 10 entrees. This place could easily give The Machine Shed a run for it's money! Hmmmm, hmmmm! We were all so stuffed! Thanks so very much, Bob and Sharon!!
When it was time to say goodbye and head back down the road, Addi decided she'd like to Chauffeur Grandpa home.

On the trip home, Grant discovered what he called a "gelatinous substance" in the backseat cup holder. The term had all us Big Bang Theory watchers (a sitcom on CBS about Genius Rocket Scientists) cracking up with laughter. Judy had no clue what it could be, and after much harassing and "chicken" calling, we convinced Phil to scrape it out and taste it! HA -gotcha!! Nah, we'll just send it in to be tested at a local lab!! OOOOOO!!
