Happy New Year! Jan 2009

We hope you had a great time ringing in the New Year. Hard to believe another year has flown by, isn't it? My best friend, Miss Victoria, had planned to drive in from Le Mars, but she came down with "the bug" and didn't want to spread it to anyone else, bless her heart. We had dinner reservations and a movie planned, so we called our dear friends, the Parrinos, to join us. But they already had plans and invited us join them at Prairie Meadows. But Jim ended up getting home really late from work and we figured going out tonight just wasn't meant to be. He was on call anyway for the Fire Dept., so we settled down in front of the fireplace with some popcorn and watched the festivities in Time Square. Here's to a wonderful year for everyone!!!
