As you might guess, the Super Bowl is a pretty important event for any "official" and Jim is no exception. Over the years, I've learned to appreciate it and even enjoy the games, with the help of Jim's high school official crew. For the past several years, Steve Jordison, whom Jim has officiated football and basketball with for at least 20 years or more, puts on a "Super" Super Bowl Party in Ames. 
The fun starts with elaborate invitations by mail...

Steve and Paul put on a feast and everyone brings their favorite snack or dessert. We usually stuff ourselves trying all the wonderful food before the game even starts... this year was no exception! YUM!!
Then we sit around Steve's gigantic big screen TV and root on our favorite teams. I'm not sure what we enjoy more... the game OR the COMMERCIALS! :) But this year the game was pretty darn exciting.

Awesome! i'm glad that you posted your favorite commercials! We were at a baby shower and missed the whole things...i was mainly disappointed that we missed the commercials! Ha, typical girl! I loved the Doritos Lucky Day!
