You just never know what to expect in this great state of Iowa when it comes to weather. I just heard it's the beginning of Tornado season, but Mother Nature decided to play her own April Fool's joke on us with a wet and windy blizzard on Sunday!
Jim had a football spring training game to officiate at the Univ. of Iowa, but that got canceled due to deteriorating weather conditions. I-80 was closed north of Ames due to so many jackknifed semis and they got 10 inches in Conrad, IA! It snowed all day, but we only ended up with about 3 inches. (whew!)
And today, as I rode in the arena, the snow began to fall off the roof, so I ran out to catch some video... It's kind of fun to watch!
Hope everyone that had to drive in the Iowa snow made it around OK and everyone else had a great weekend!

That was really neat. Trevor enjoyed watching the snow slide off the shed before he left for school! It reminds me of a money machine or something! If only...
