A friend was kind enough to come and take pictures for Kim as, well, her hands were kinda full! There was also a Marine photographer there taking pictures as well. those will be posted on a website, so will post a link later on when it's available.
Big hug from Mom, who, as you can imagine, was also very glad to have him home!
Nick is doing fine. Jim talked to him for a few minutes yesterday. Said couldn't wait to take a shower and sleep in a real bed! Makes me appreciate all the things I have that he didn't all these past 7 months... ya know?!
Had a few ask n to see the banner we made for Nick. Kim posted a pic on her blog, so I didn't post it last time... but here it is for those that didn't make it to Kim's page. Jim's most proud of the helicopter we drew from an Ugly Angel T-shirt Nick gave him.

Jim even called his Dad and Kim to make sure we had Nick's YL number right... 46! -Just had to make sure it was just right! :)
Word is Nick and family will be back in Iowa around the second week in October - on their way to their new home in Virginia, as his next duty is to fly HMX-1 -the Presidential Helicopter!! We are SO proud!
