Day at the Lake

With Jim at the airshow in Oskosh, I thougth it would be a great day to make a long overdue visit to our wonderful friends, the Parrinos. Rick & Sue recently became first-time grandparents and, as luck would have it, they were babysitting the little one at their lake house at Lake Panorama. So I hopped in the car and took the scenic hour's drive to see them!

When Mommy and Daddy came back, the rest of us went out on their new boat. It's a really nice shaded pontoon boat. (Rick, Sue, their sweet daughter, Christine, and her new friend, Austin)

We had a nice lunch and then cooled off in the water. It's been unusually cold in Iowa this summer, so the water was a bit chilly. I'm a wimp you know, so I dind't stay in too long!

Rick decided we needed a picture of Sue and me! I agreed! We all always have so much fun together.

-Coming back to their dock. They have such a pretty beach and landscaping as you go up to the back of the house. We've a had many a fun time sitting around their campfire or grilling out in past summers. Thanks for a great time, Rick and Sue! Look forward to seeing you again soon!!
