We decided there weren't going to be many weekends left to camp, so we loaded up the horses and the dogs and headed to Missouri to Mr. Mike Kemery's place. He was kind enough to let us camp out near his hunting lodge and ride the horses on more than 1500 acres. It was so nice!
It was pretty warm and windy most days, but we had great rides. The horses seemed mighty tuckered out one particular day. When we untacked, put on their fly sheets and masks and put them back in their corral, they promptly laid down in the shade and took a nap. We went into the air conditioned trailer and did the same! :)
