You haven't lived until you've bailed hay! This year we had to rotate our hay field to beans and rented a neighbor's field for hay. -Have to keep those "hay burners' (my grandpa's term for horses) stocked up for winter ya know! Julie drives the tractor, but Jim really does all the hard work.


Like...

Fixing the flat wagon wheels!
And stacking all that hay!

And fixing the baler when it breaks down! (which is sometimes quite often!)

Then stacking it again into the old barn if need be. This year we were blessed to have the Nowysz boys, Alex and Daniel, help out when we needed extra help!
