Wonderful news! Michael is doing much better!! He is more aware of what's going on and recognizes people. Jim talked to him on the phone and Michael gave him grief about not getting a deer last week, so you KNOW he's feeling better! We're all SO relieved. He's showing consistant improvement. The consenses seems to be that the combination of medications and the infection may have been to blame. Prognosis is good.
I've been waiting to post an update about Michael because his condition was really up and down for quite a few days while the doctors tried to figure out what was wrong. Thank goodness we have so many medical persons in our family to ask the right questions and explain it all to the rest of us. Jan flew right back down there, Jim's Mom and brother Philip flew down today.
